FAQ
Questions
A pin shows the spot. Arrival ID shows the way.
Location pins and codes, such as a what3words address, show where a spot is. Arrival ID adds the approach, the entrance, the turn and where to stop, with photos.
Use both. Guide owners can add another location reference, such as a what3words address, to their guide.
- Do I still need a what3words address or a map pin?
- Use both if you have them. A pin or location code shows the spot. Arrival ID shows the way in: what to see, where to turn and where to stop. You can add another location reference to your guide.
- Does the driver need an account or app?
- No. The link opens in any phone browser.
- Can I include my gate or key-safe code?
- No. Guides never include gate, alarm, key-safe or door codes, and we block text that looks like one.
- How does it work on an industrial estate?
- The estate manager publishes one guide for the estate entrance, plus a small guide for each unit. Drivers search by unit number. Tenants can edit only their own unit, and the estate manager approves changes before drivers see them.
- Who can see a guide?
- Anyone with its link. Links are unlisted and can be revoked or set to expire.
